DIVI-Intensivregister – by Robert Koch-Institut
The DIVI Intensive Care Register is an application for managing health care emergencies for hospitals, such as the Corona pandemic.
On a daily basis, the DIVI Intensive Care Register records the free and occupied treatment capacities in intensive care medicine of about 1,300 acute care hospitals in Germany. In the context of the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic, current case numbers of COVID-19 patients treated in intensive care are also recorded.
During the pandemic and beyond, the registry makes it possible to identify bottlenecks in intensive medical care in a regional and temporal comparison. As a result, the DIVI Intensive Care Registry has provided a valuable foundation for real-time response and data-driven action management since April 2020.
My role was to support the Senior User Experience Designer (UX Leadership) Timothy Simms as UX/UI Designer. In addition, I represented him in absences, took over his responsibilities: organization, ticketing, design, direct customer contact.
Moreover, I created animated explanatory films about what the DIVI Intensive Register is, how it works and how to use it.
